Unlock your Natural Voice

Most singers are taught to control their voice.
In my experience, the voice works best when it is allowed to respond naturally.

After more than 30 years of teaching singers across all styles and levels, I have
seen that lasting change does not come from trying harder, but from thinking
differently.

The ideas shared here are designed to help you understand your voice more
clearly, reduce unnecessary effort, and move toward a freer, more natural way
of singing.

About Brian Gilbertson

Brian Gilbertson AM has spent over 50 years in the performing arts, including twenty years as a principal operatic tenor, alongside work across rock, cabaret, jazz and musical theatre.

His approach to voice developed through intensive study in Vienna in the 1980s with Maestro Franz Schuch-Tovini, where a shift in thinking transformed not only his own singing, but the way he later worked with others.

For more than 30 years, Brian has shared these ideas with singers and voice teachers internationally, helping them move toward a freer, more natural way of singing.
