When Brian Gilbertson was in his teenage years he sang in children's operas and on Television. He also sang in the local church choir where he was mentored by conductor, Domenic McDonald, whose son Kevin also sang in the choir. Brian and Kevin went on to successful Rock Bands a few years later. Christmas time was the best time for the choir and Adeste Fideles/Come all ye Faithfull is where Brian first learned about harmony.
